Dreams Explained

May 22nd, 2008 - No Responses

How do you understand your dream? What is it saying? Is it important? All very good questions to ask. It is my sincere desire to help you understand your dreams… at least some of them! That’s why I wrote “Your Dreams…Is God Trying To Tell You Something?” You can buy it here right on the website for just $9.95 It’s a great value and I really believe it will give you valuable insight into understanding your dreams.

The first and most important thing to remember is that it’s your dream and you are equipped to interpret the dream yourself. Therefore, as you search to understand a dream, I urge you to make it your priority to learn how to interpret your own dreams. Don’t go searching to find someone else to interpret it for you. You are capable of figuring it out yourself. Then, start listening. Open your heart and mind to hear what the dream is trying to tell you. I believe a prayer would help… something like this “Father, God, help me understand this dream… especially if you are trying to tell me something important. Open my heart and mind to hear what you’re saying. I pray this in Jesus Name, amen.”

Then, it will come. That still small voice in your head and you will know it’s true. There’s so much I’d like to share with you about hearing, so I hope you’ll go ahead and get my book. As soon as you complete the transaction, you will be able to download it and start reading it right away on your computer. God bless you. And, sweet dreams.  Love, Ruthanna

CHEROKEE SEASONS

The following pictures are of the same place but taken in different seasons!

Lessons on Life

There was an Indian Chief who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the Winter, the second in the Spring, the third in Summer, and the youngest son in the Fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said ‘no’ it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful. It was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree’s life.

He told them that you can not judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it’s Winter, you will miss the promise of your Spring, the beauty of your Summer, the fulfillment of your Fall.

Moral:

Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don’t judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come.

Live Simply.
Love Generously.
Care Deeply.
Speak Kindly.

Leave the Rest to God.

Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Failures keep You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But God keeps You Going!

Letter to Orange County CA Newspaper “Rejected” on Immigration Subject

February 24th, 2008 - No Responses

David LaBonte, of California, writes:

"My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the Orange
County Register which was not printed. So, I decided to 'print' it myself by
sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined.”

Dear Editor:

So many... have based their arguments (in favor of immigration) on how
this land is made up of immigrants. One suggests we should tear down the
Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated
the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to those people why
today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer.

Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the
United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York
and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and
kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new
country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in
their new American households and some even changed their names to blend
in with their new home.

They had waved goodbye to their birthplace to give their children a new life
and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one
culture.

Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to
protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had
brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity. Most of their children
came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men
whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan ..
None of these first generation Americans ever gave any thought about what
country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler,
Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States
of America as one people. When we liberated France, no one in those
villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the
Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one
flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have
thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who
they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed
so much to be here. These immigrants knew what it meant to be an American.
They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are in 2007 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same
rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set
of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful
to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about.
I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve
better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations
to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better
life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those
waving foreign country flags.
And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens
to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start
talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

Let’s say I break into your house…

February 22nd, 2008 - No Responses

Recently, demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue
of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests…
Let’s say I break into your house. Let’s say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, ‘I’ve made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I’ve done all the things you don’t
like to do. I’m hard-working and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required
to let me stay in your house
You are Required
to add me to your family’s insurance plan
You are Required
to Educate my kids
You are Required
to Provide other benefits to me and my family
(oh, my husband will do all of your yard work too because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It’s only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m just trying to better myself. I’m a hard-working and honest person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house. And oh yeah, I get a free education, even though you have to pay your own way through college. (TEE HEE)
And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold,
uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me. And don’t forget to make sure your forms are in MY language – I need to understand them..

Why can’t people see how ridiculous this is? If you agree, pass it on ( in English ).

If not, blow it off…….

along with your future Social Security funds.

Food Signatures reveal God’s Love and Provision!

February 8th, 2008 - No Responses

This could be God’s hand at work. Here are examples of Food Signatures.
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows
tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female – they look just like these organs. Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? …. It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells. Today’s research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes
