Yemen Attack US Embassy

“Eight months after four Americans – including an American ambassador – were slaughtered by terrorists, we may finally hear the truth.

As hearings begin today on the Benghazi terror attacks, the Obama Administration may finally face its day of reckoning.

Why did the State Department strip the Benghazi facility of security even as threats escalated?

Did the Administration order rescuing forces to "stand down" – leading to the deaths of brave Americans fighting for their lives, outgunned in a hostile land?

Did the Administration lie to cover up its failures and downplay the terrorist threat in the middle of an election season?

These are the questions that require answers. The time for political cowardice is over; now is the time for accountability.”

This is NOT a mosquito.

It’s an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin.

It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home.

Given their propensity to request macro-sized drones for surveillance, one is left with little doubt that police and military may look into these gadgets next.

(And to think we were worried about West Nile virus!)

And now you know why our government has requested the law be changed to allow drone surveillance in the United States…

And for all you who automatically say “fake” because you don’t think the government is funding this… do some research.

Knowledge of Today

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan." All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A…. (substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little..

The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that.

Remember, there IS a test coming up – the next elections.

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation

This may not be a true story, but its a great lesson on why Socialism doesn’t work and never will.

Anthropomorphic Nouns Are Fun!

This is funny with an interesting lesson!

Anthropomorphic Nouns

for groups of animals.

This is too much fun not to share. You just can’t make this kind of stuff up.

Be sure to read the whole thing then enjoy your belly laugh to start your day!

The English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective nouns for the various groups of animals.

For example, we are all familiar with a …

Herd of cows

a Flock of chickens

a School of fish

and a Gaggle of geese.

However, less widely known is:

a Pride of lions

a Murder of crows (as well as their cousins the rooks and ravens)

an Exaltation of doves

and, presumably because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls.

Now consider a group of Baboons.  They are the loudest, most dangerous,

most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates.

And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons?

Believe it or not … a Congress!

A CONGRESS OF BABOONS!
I guess that pretty much explains the things that come out of Washington!

You just can’t make this stuff up.  Go green – Recycle Congress!!!
REMEMBER…..NOBODY SHOULD MAKE A CAREER OUT OF POLITICS
